Dr. Belt Bio


Dr. Mark Belt MD is an American board certified Emergency Physician that lives in Vero Beach, FL. Dr. Belt attended James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Va, majoring in biology and VCU School of Medicine in Richmond, Va. He completed his Emergency Medicine residency at Lincoln Medical Center in Bronx, New York. Dr. Belt has practiced Emergency Medicine in the United States for 20 years. After suffering life burnout, Dr. Belt became focussed and committed to the study and research of the mind, body and well-being. He has developed a new therapy, ABT (Affective Behavioral Therapy), that uses emotions to reprogram the fearful subconscious mind. This differs from other ideology that employs thought and cognition as the foundation for therapy. This gets to the root cause of mental suffering as it is programmed through fear of separation during early childhood.
